Introduction: timely identification of factors affecting academic dropout, from the point
of view of related people, can play a significant role in preventing it; Therefore, the current

from the point of view of Processional Doctorate students of Tabriz University of Medical
Sciences in the academic year of 2022-2023.

entering 2018. The sample size was determined based on Morgan’s table of 214 people
and its distribution was done in a proportional class. Data were collected using a standard
questionnaire with 52 questions on a 5-point Likert scale. Questionnaires were completed
in Pressline software and data analysis was done using descriptive statistics, independent t
test and Friedman test in SPSS 24 software.
Results: According to the findings of the research, Pre-university educational factors, aUniversity
educational factors, psychological factors, and social and economic factors are
effective (P<0.05). The ranking of the effective factors of academic performance was different
from the students’ point of view (P<0.05) and University educational factors had the
highest rank and economic-social factors had the lowest rank among the effective factors of
academic performance.

it, and support measures for students exposed to academic failure and its subsequent
