Introduction: The educational environment represents a complex system that plays a crucial role in students' academic development, particularly in shaping their future professional lives. Providing an optimal educational environment is essential for effective learning. This study aimed to evaluate faculty members' perceptions of the clinical learning environment at Jahrom University of Medical Sciences in 2024.
Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 92 clinical faculty members from the medical, nursing, and paramedical schools of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences in 2024. Data collection instruments included a demographic information questionnaire and the AMEET questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 21, employing descriptive statistics and inferential tests with a significance level of p<0.05.
Results: The mean total score of perceptions regarding the clinical learning environment was 1.92±0.19. The perceptions of 71.7% of Jahrom faculty members indicated strengths in the university's educational environment. No significant relationship was found between faculty members' perceptions of the clinical learning environment and their demographic characteristics (p>0.05).
Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that the clinical learning environment at Jahrom University of Medical Sciences is favorably perceived by faculty members and provides a suitable foundation for enhancing educational quality. By focusing on areas needing improvement, further development of this environment can be achieved, thereby increasing the effectiveness of educational processes.
