Introduction: Improving the level of clinical education can lead to adequate education of students in various clinical fields. Therefore, evaluation of educational services is the most effective way to improve the quality of education. For this purpose, the curent study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the satisfaction of the interns of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences with the educational services of the clinical departments of Zahedan Medical School.

Mehods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 120 medical interns of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in 2022. The satisfaction of interns with the quality of clinical education was evaluated and the results were recorded by a questionnaire.

Results: The results of the present study showed that the highest satisfaction score related to the in emergency medicine, infectious diseases departments with mean of 2.56±0.65 and 2.11±0.87, respectively and the lowest satisfaction score related to the gynecology and orthopedic departments, respectively, with mean of 0.67±0.25 and 0.89±0.34 (P = 0.035). In addition, the mean overall satisfaction of interns has decreased significantly with the increase (P=0.02).

Conclusion: According to the results of this study, interns' satisfaction was lower in major departments (e.g. pediatrics, orthopedics and gynecology) and higher in minor departments (e.g. emergency medicine, infectious diseases). In this regard, it is suggested to pay attention to outpatient training in educational clinics and pay more attention to clinical training time in major departments.
