Objective: case-based learning that includes problem-based learning, group-based learning, and clinical presentations in order to increase higher thinking skills (critical thinking), integrating information, using correct clinical reasoning and relying on evidence, making decisions that are always case-based Attention is paid. The purpose of this research is to design and develop clinical case-based learning software to present clinical case essays and hold clinical reasoning tests online.
Methods: This applied research was conducted based on the steps of the software production cycle process, which includes requirements analysis, design specifications, implementation, integration and testing of the collection, debugging and software development, and finally by the researcher's checklist, the validity and reliability of the item Confirmation has been made.
Results: A part of the software prototype, which included an emergency course in the nursing class, was activated for accreditation and checklist design, and was evaluated by medical and nursing education professors.
Conclusion: By using new technologies and based on research results, it can be acknowledged that the use of electronic learning software based on clinical case, which is designed in this research under an online system called ecase, can be used alongside clinical education in line with providing web-based learning education. The clinical case has a positive and increasing effect on the acquisition of clinical reasoning skills and active learning.
