Introduction :
Viral Disease (Covid 19) The coronavirus appeared in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and spread rapidly throughout the world, causing serious problems for public health and the health of individuals and communities. Among the groups that faced serious problems in this pandemic were medical universities, turned to virtual education. In this study, we intend to examine how information technology has been used in medical universities and also to point out the quality of e-learning in the Covid 19 pandemic.
Methods:
This study was conducted as a review method by searching reputable databases such as Science Direct and PubMed.The aim of the study was to study a total of 15 studies using Persian and English keywords, which were extracted and reviewed in the period 2002 to 2020. In this article, all the contents are given with the names of the authors of the articles.
Results:
Studies have shown that virtual education in medical universities is done in the following ways:
1- Online or synchronous virtual training 2- Non-online or asynchronous virtual training 3- Combined training
The use of such methods has advantages such as access to educational content from anywhere, creating virtual discussions and groups outside the classroom, holding virtual tests, but still learning disabilities, limited access to physical facilities such as laboratories, loss of interest in Learning among learners is one of the negative effects of e-learning in medical sciences.
