Thus, in this regard to the importance of character in critical thinking, this study aimed to determine the correlation between personality traits with the critical thinking skills of nursing students was conducted. Methods: This correlational study was conducted on 165 nursing students of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences based on cluster sampling. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire consisted of three parts: demographic characteristics, critical thinking skills test (Form B) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire scales (EPQ_R). To analyze the data used SPSS version 16 and descriptive statistics, frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation test in inferential statistics. Results: There is no significant correlation between the mean score of critical thinking, and extroversion-introversion.There is no significant correlation between total mean scores of critical thinking with total mean scores of critical thinking of personality. Conclusion: Critical thinking of students was not satisfactory. Also, there was no correlation between personality traits with critical thinking.
