fa ارزیابی میزان آگاهی دانشجویان دانشکده دندانپزشکی بندرعباس در مورد استفاده از چسب دنچر در بیماران پروتز کامل تخصصي Special پژوهشي Orginal <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>هدف</strong>: دندان‌پزشکان با آگاهی از مزایا، معایب و روش صحیح استفاده از چسب‌های دنچر می‌توانند بیماران پروتز کامل را در استفاده از این محصولات جهت گیر و ثبات بهتر دست‌دندانشان راهنمایی کنند. مطالعه حاضر باهدف بررسی آگاهی دانشجویان دندانپزشکی بندرعباس از کاربرد چسب پروتز در بیماران با پروتز کامل در سال تحصیلی 1403-1402 انجام شد.<br> <strong>روش‌ها</strong>: این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی بر روی تمامی دانشجویان ترم‌های 12-9 دندانپزشکی بندرعباس که به‌صورت سرشماری انتخاب شدند، انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها پرسشنامه‌ای استاندارد بود که شامل؛ اطلاعات جمعیت شناختی پایه ازجمله جنس، سال ورود به دانشگاه و معدل کل متشکل از ۲۴ سؤال جهت سنجش میزان آگاهی دانشجویان درزمینه استفاده از چسب دنچر در بیماران دارای پروتز کامل؛ و دو سؤال به‌منظور بررسی نظر دانشجویان و منبع اطلاعاتی آنان در این زمینه بود. تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS و آمار ه های توصیفی (فراوانی و درصد) و آزمون آماری استنباطی t-test در سطح معنی‌داری 0/05>P صورت گرفت.<br> <strong>یافته‌ها</strong>: از 97 دانشجوی مورد بررسی، 45 نفر (46/4 درصد) پسر و 52 نفر (53/6 درصد) دختر بودند. میانگین سنی دانشجویان 2/21&plusmn;25/89 سال و میانگین نمره معدل آن‌ها 1/20&plusmn;14/78 بود. میانگین نمره آگاهی دانشجویان دو سال آخر دندانپزشکی در مورداستفاده از چسب دنچر در بیماران پروتز کامل 1/91&plusmn;12/16 از 24 نمره بود، ارتباط بین میانگین نمره آگاهی با جنسیت، سال ورودی و نمره معدل آن‌ها ازنظر آماری معنی‌دار نبود (P-Value<0/05).<br> <strong>نتیجه‌گیری</strong>: نتایج مطالعه حاضر نشان داد آگاهی دانشجویان دو سال آخر دندانپزشکی در مورداستفاده از چسب دنچر در بیماران پروتز کامل در حد متوسط بود. آموزش جامع‌تر در مورد کاربرد و اهمیت چسب‌های دندان مصنوعی می‌تواند به افزایش سطح آگاهی دانشجویان کمک کند.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Introduction</strong>: Dentists, if aware of the benefits, drawbacks, and correct usage of denture adhesives, can guide complete denture patients in using these products for better retention and stability of their dentures. The present study aimed to evaluate of Bandar Abbas dental students&rsquo;awareness regarding the use of denture adhesives in complete denture patients in the academic year 2023-2024.<br> <strong>Methods</strong>: This descriptive-cross-sectional study was conducted on all students of Bandar Abbas Dental School in semesters 9-12, who were selected through census. The data collection tool was a validated and reliable questionnaire containing basic information (gender, year of entry to university, and grade point average), 24 questions to assess awareness about the use of denture adhesives in complete denture patients, and 2 questions for surveying and awareness of the students&rsquo; information source. Data were analyzed by SPSS software version 26 and descriptive statistics (frequency and percentage) and inferential statistical test (t-test) at a significance level of P<0.05.<br> <strong>Results</strong>: Out of 97 students, 45 (46.4%) were male and 52 (53.6%) were female. The mean age of these students was 25.89&plusmn;2.21 years and their mean GPA score was 14.78&plusmn;1.20. The mean awareness score of students in the last two years of dentistry regarding the use of denture adhesives in complete denture patients was 12.16&plusmn;1.91 out of 24. There was no statistically significant relationship between the mean awareness score with gender, year of entry, and GPA score (P>0.05).<br> <strong>Discussion</strong>: The results of the present study showed that the awareness of students in the last two years of dentistry regarding the use of denture adhesives in complete denture patients was at a moderate level.
