Introduction: Today, team learning is a perfect solution to respond to challenges such as human resource management and competitive challenges and to achieve organizational effectiveness. The aim of research is to study team learning activity of faculty members of health information technology in universities of medical science whole country.
Methods: Faculties of Universities of Medical sciences as members of the population and faculty members of the Health Information Technology as the sample were studied. The tool used was a questionnaire which was employed to determine team learning activities of the three components of internal learning activities, proxy learning activities, and context learning activities.
Results: Results showed that the extent of team learning activities among the faculty members of the Health Information Technology group in the country’s Universities of Medical Sciences has a significant difference; so that internal, proxy, and context activities exist in different and significant levels among the members. Also, the average of women’s ratings in many team learning activity groups was higher than the average of men’s ratings.
Conclusion: The analysis of the findings shows the internal learning activities are at moderate level and the external learning activities are lower than internal learning activities.
